OUR COMMITMENT TO RESPONSIBILITY
At Terra Amata, responsibility is approached with care and intention. We work closely with partners who meet rigorous global standards for both environmental and ethical practices.
Our manufacturing partners are certified by:
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)
The leading certification for organic textiles, ensuring fibres are organically grown, processed without harmful chemicals, and traceable throughout the entire supply chain.
SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange)
A globally recognised platform supporting responsible sourcing, with a focus on workers’ rights, fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical business practices.
Why this matters
• 95–100% organic fibres across our garments
• Protection of people and the environment from harmful chemicals
• Respect and dignity for the individuals behind each piece
• A supply chain grounded in transparency and accountability
The result is a collection of thoughtfully made garments- designed to be worn with ease, and chosen with confidence.
Our debut collection was developed in collaboration with carefully selected partners based in Delhi, India.
Each supplier completes a detailed assessment process and is required to meet our Code of Conduct. This framework guides how we evaluate both new and existing partners, ensuring every stage of production reflects the care and integrity at the heart of Terra Amata.

OUR CODE OF CONDUCT
At Terra Amata, we believe the clothing children wear should feel premium in every sense- not only in how it touches the skin, but in how it is made.
Our Code of Conduct forms the foundation of every partnership. It sets clear expectations for ethical practices, responsible production, and respect for both people and the environment across our supply chain.
We require all partners, and their extended supply networks, to align with the following principles:
What We Stand For
Fair Wages & Working Conditions
Workers must be fairly compensated and provided with safe, clean, and respectful working environments.
No Child or Forced Labour
All employment must be freely chosen, and workers must meet the legal minimum working age.
Equality & Inclusion
Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated. All individuals must be treated with fairness and respect.
Freedom of Association
Workers must be free to organise, join unions, or appoint representatives.
Safe and Healthy Workplaces
Appropriate health and safety standards must be in place, including access to clean water, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
Environmental Responsibility
Partners are expected to comply with environmental regulations and to manage resources- including water, waste, and emissions- with care and accountability.
Chemical & Waste Management
Compliance with EU REACH regulations is required to ensure safer materials and responsible production processes.
Animal Welfare
Any animal-derived materials must be ethically sourced and comply with recognised welfare standards.
What We Expect from Our Partners
To maintain integrity across our supply chain, all partners are required to:
• Sign and uphold our Code of Conduct
• Communicate these standards throughout their supply chain, including subcontractors
• Complete a readiness assessment to confirm compliance
• Allow independent or Terra Amata-led audits
• Provide transparency and relevant documentation when requested
• Implement corrective actions within agreed timelines, where necessary
• Maintain a confidential grievance mechanism for workers
• Review and recommit to the Code annually
At Terra Amata, responsibility is not treated as a trend, but as a continuous commitment. We work with partners who share this perspective- building something more considered, one piece at a time.
